Flower Garden Nail Art

I tried freehand nail art today. I made a little garden on each finger. My right hand turned out extremely messy. For now I will have to stick with nail stamping and tape manicures lol.

Ulta: Envy, Essie: Pink Parka, China Glaze: Fly, Flip Flop Fantasy, Blue Paradise, Beauty and the Beach

China Glaze Pom Pom

China Glaze Pom Pom is a nice jelly rose-mauve pink, packed with tiny silver glitter and bits of round silver glitter. I believe this polish was a Sally’s Beauty Store exclusive from the “Treasures” collection. I was lucky enough to find it on clearance for $1.99 :) This polish would be pretty on its own but I layered it over one coat of Essie French Affair. I think these two polishes are stunning together.

My Nail Polish Collection

I received this beautiful nail polish rack for my birthday. Now that I am back from spring break I immediately had to set everything up. I think it holds everything nicely :)

Anyone have any suggestions for pink OPI polishes?

China Glaze Bare If You Dare

China Glaze Bare If You Dare is a very pretty cantaloupe color with a gold shimmer. I had no problems with application and it is BEAUTIFUL in the sunshine. I love the subtle shimmer. This is two coats, no top coat.

Re-Fresh Mint, Caribbean Temptation, Squiggle Scissors

I played around with my mom's squiggle scissors again. This time I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint as a base, and used China Glaze Caribbean Temptation on top. I love both of these polishes, and this combination.

Sale Nail Polish Finds

I found a few sale nail polishes today. At Sallys I found Silver Lining and Pom Pom, but for $1.99. Then at Ross I found the Catwalk Queen collection by Color Club for $7.99. The holographic polish (Fashion Addict) from the Catwalk Queen collection was replaced with a purple creme shade :(

Silver Lining, Pom Pom

Front Row Diva, Runway Muse, Vintage Couture, Ready to Wear, Unknown purple creme, Catwalk Queen, Clear Coat

Color Club Resort to Red & Stamping

Color Club Resort to Red is a medium ruby red with a slight shimmer. This color has a great shine to it and applied easily in two coats. I stamped over top with a white polish but it turned out poorly. I think it would be a pretty manicure if the stamping was cleaner.

Another Pink Polish: Naked

My collection is mostly pink polishes and I love them all. China Glaze Naked is definitely a must-have for all pink lovers. It is a nice pink with shimmer that requires at least 3 coats. I think this color would look pretty layered over another light pink. I plan to try that soon. This is three coats, no topcoat.

Only 3 more followers until my 100 follower giveaway :)

Untamed Luxury, Tape, Scissors

I tried again to use craft scissors and tape to make a fun mani. You can see my other scissors mani here. I am not in love with this, I think it looks best from far away. I used Color Club Untamed Luxury as a base, and used a black Wet n Wild polish on top.

Color Club Untamed Luxury

Color Club Untamed Luxury is a teal base with tons of blue and green micro-glitter. It is a nice polish if you love glitter. I am already dreading its removal though, glitter polishes are a pain to take off. I used three coats and could have probably used another. I think it would look really cool layered over something else.

Fly with Flowers

China Glaze Fly stamped with China Glaze Magical. I ordered Magical after I loved the results of using Emotion (also from the Romantique collection) with my stamping plates.

This is my favorite image from my set of Bundle Monster plates :)

China Glaze Fly

China Glaze Fly is magenta with purple and pink flecks of micro-shimmer. This is my first polish from the Kicks collection, and it will not be my last ('It’s Poppin' is next on my wishlist). Fly is very glossy and pigmented, I almost could have gotten away with one coat. This is two coats, no topcoat.

I will be stamping with this polish later after I pick up more polish remover.

You can see the shimmer best in direct sunlight.

New China Glaze :)

I ordered three more China Glaze nail polishes from Amazon with a birthday giftcard and they arrived today. The colors I picked out are Fly, Naked, and Magical. I will review these three polishes soon

Color Club Covered in Diamonds

This is Color Club Covered in Diamonds over top of Secret Rendezvous from the previous post. I have read good reviews about this polish but I am not a huge fan. The polish was a thick gloopy mess. I added at least ten drops of nail polish thinner which helped a little. The glitter is pretty but I think you would need at least three coats of topcoat to smooth everything out. This is two coats of Covered in Diamonds, with one coat of topcoat.

9 more followers until my 100 follower giveaway :)

Color Club Secret Rendezvous

Color Club Secret Rendezvous is a light pastel lavender creme nail polish from the Alter Ego Collection, Spring 2011. I had some trouble with the formula, i used at least three coats. I have read that there are several dupes of this shade by other brands, but this is my first lavender polish so I am happy to own it. This is three coats, maybe four, no top coat.

When I have time later I plan to top Secret Rendezvous with Color Club Covered in Diamonds. I will post pictures :)

China Glaze Emotion

I wanted to show some plain pictures of China Glaze Emotion before I get back to stamping. I purchased this polish for stamping purposes but it is special on its own. It is a warm pink metallic shade from the Romantique collection. This polish does show brushstrokes, but it is opaque in one coat. This is one coat, no top coat.

I have already ordered another polish from the Romantique collection off of Amazon. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival :)

Fancy Fuchsia Flowers

I decided to do minimal stamping over top of Orly's Fancy Fuchsia. I used China Glaze Blue Paradise (which I will review later) for the stamping. I definitely do not normally purchase dark blue nail polish, but when I saw Blue Paradise on clearance at Sally's for $1.99 I had to pick it up.
