This is yesterday's mani using Essie French Affair, with a Konad stamp I bought a few years ago. I have not touched my two Konad plates for at least a year, but now I want to start using them again! I used a cheap white N.Y.C polish for the pattern. I think I would have better results using a nicer stamp polish. Any suggestions?
ive long since used up my white konad polish that came with the set but what ive noticed is the more opaque = the better. it doesnt have to do with quality, IMO.
ReplyDeletei use color club art club polishes for stamping, theyre the "nail art" polishes in the skinny bottle with the skinny brush, i get them 3 for 5$ at Five Below. they work REALLY well and can be found at a lot of different places! be weary about mistaking them for the "art deco" polishes though, they tend to be a bit runnier and dont stamp as well!
This is lovely, just the type of nail art i love to wear on a daily basis - uderstated, pretty but still different! you cant get konad over here in the UK so i have to make do with whatever i can get my grubby little hands on! i agree with cathryn though, the more opaque the better :)
ReplyDeletekeep them coming my love :)

I use the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear for Stamping, and I've heard their Nail Art Pens work really well too. I just got this plate & I'm excited for it!
ReplyDeletei like that this is a soft looking mani but still fun.. good job :)
ReplyDeletethis came out looking so dainty. that essie looks great on your skin!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I will have to look at the Color Club art club polishes and the Sally Hansen Extreme Wear. I own dozens of pink nail polish but this one is top three. I highly recommend it :)
