Orly: Bubbly Bombshell & Polish Question

Orly Bubbly Bombshell is a pretty purple glitter. I read great reviews on this polish so when I saw it at Sally's I decided to pick it up. This was the only polish from Orly's newest collection that I wanted. I love how glitter polishes look, but I am dreading its removal. This is three coats, with one coat of Seche Vite.

Anyone know of a similar polish that is all pink glitter instead of purple?

  1. I know of 3 glitters like this that are more pink:
OPI Show It And Glow It is like a pink-purple-silver version.
Runaway from Icing is entirely pink, but it is a bit of a purpley pink.
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Rockstar Pink is mostly hot pink but also totally filled with other colors.

  2. I really liked Eyeko Chi Chi Polish, and my absolute favourite pink glitter is Zoya Astra.

Death to remove but stunning on!

  3. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Strobe Light. It's mostly light pink in a clear base.

I wore 2 coats over a pale pink a few weeks ago and it took 45 minutes to remove...

  5. So pretty! I passed up this whole collection but I'm thinking I want a few of them now. As for super glitter bomb pinks? I don't have any that are true pinks, so I can't help. Sorry. Oh, and definitely try the foil method to remove glitter - seriously the only way to effectively remove glitter polish!

  7. Sinful Colors Pink Glitter is pretty. It isn't just like Orly Bubbly Bombshell but it is pink and it is glitter.

Definitely do the foil and acetone soak thing. It is slightly time consuming but it is soooo much easier than trying to scrub glitter off for an hour.

Just soak a cotton ball or round in acetone, press it to the nail, wrap in a small piece of foil (about four inches or so square). Do as many nails as you can manage at once. Let it all soak for five or six minutes then remove, pressing down on the top to help all the glitter slid off. Do a little clean off if there is anything remaining then finish the rest of your nails.

It is painless and makes glitter a pleasure instead of something to dread.
