Old Nail Art :) (Picture Heavy)

I spent time tonight reading through my old blog posts from March and April this year. I always enjoy looking at past nail art, so I compiled a ton of photos from my old posts. I have not messed with nail art in ages. These manicures were all fun, but I have been really enjoying simple layering manis. Which one is your favorite?

Quick Manicure & Giveaway Winner

Every time I decided to do my nails in a jiffy I always turn to polishes from the China Glaze Tronica collection. From my experience they all dry extremely fast, and can be opaque in one careful coat. Today I used China Glaze Hyper Haute as a base, and the newest collection of Bundle Monster plates for the stamping. I do not normally do accent nail manicures, but this was fun for something different.

I have finally drawn and contacted the winner for my 300 follower giveaway. Sorry for the delay. I broke one of the bottles when I moved, so I had to find a replacement. The winner is Jenny S! Thank you everyone for the nice comments and for following my blog :)

Stamping with Pink Voltage

It is no secret I love pink manicures. China Glaze Pink Voltage is one of my favorite pink polishes. If you would like to read my post/view links to my other favorite pink polishes you can see that here. For this mani I used Pink Voltage as the base, and black Bundle Monster stamping on top. The first picture with without top coat, and the second photo is with.

Quick Purple Manicure

For this fast mani I used China Glaze Virtual Violet (from the China Glaze Tronica Collection) as a base. Virtual Violet dries very fast, and I only needed to use one coat. I then stamped on top with my Bundle Monster plates and a white Wet n Wild polish. I think this whole manicure took less than ten minuets :)

Coral & Stamping

Tonight I used my new Bundle Monster plates again to create this manicure. For the base I used Orly Pixie Stix, and for the stamping I used a cheap black Wet n Wild polish. I had been having trouble with this image plate, but the black Wet n Wild seem to work okay.

Gold Flowers

For this cute manicure I used China Glaze Endurance as a base with gold stamping on top. For the stamping I used my Bundle Monster plates and Sally Hansen Chrome in White Gold. White Gold was great for stamping, but is almost nonexistent in stores. If you do not own White Gold a good substitute would be China Glaze Passion.

Marbled Stamping

I was in a hurry to do a quick manicure before going out to dinner. I used Rimmel Black Satin as a base and China Glaze Passion (from the Romantique collection) on top. Because I was in a hurry my Bundle Monster plate was damp with nail polish remover from cleaning it. The result was a blurry mess of stamping that ended up looking pretty cool.

Layered Stamping

I was testing layered stamping again over China Glaze Empowerment as a base and this was the results. I used a few polishes that were near me at the time, but I think this would look better if I had used contrasting colors so the stamping would stand out more. This mani is fun but it would take an hour to do both hands.

Stamping Overload?

I started with Revlon Scented polish in Not So Blueberry and began to stamp away. I think I had the right idea, and it looks semi marbled from far away but this manicure is a pain to repeat on ten nails.

Holographic Stamping

Just a quick post tonight. This is China Glaze Hologram as a base with China Glaze Purple Panic stamped on top. I love this bright design. Like the other polishes from the Tronica collection Hologram dries quickly which makes it a great base for stamping.

Blue Paradise with Fancy Fuchsia

I wanted to try China Glaze Blue Paradise today. Blue Paradise is a frosty dark blue. This one was really thick but a few drops of thinner made it perfect. Blue Paradise was so shiny you can see my reflection in the swatch photo. I had time so I used my Bundle Monster plates again with Orly Fancy Fuchsia.

Sheer Disguise with Stamping

Have I mentioned how much I love to use my Bundle Monster plates? Today I stamped with China Glaze Electra Magenta (from the Tronica collection) over top of Color Club Sheer Disguise. Electra Magenta was not a very good stamping polish, I will have to try a different pink polish next time.

Material Girl with Silver Stamping

I decided to stamp over Ulta Material Girl with Sally Hansen Celeb City. The silver stamping is a little fuzzy over top of the magenta glitter, but in the right light the combination is really pretty.

Super Fast Mani

Rimmel 60 Seconds in Stop Traffic is a gorgeous super bright hot pink with blue/magenta undertones. It requires at least two coats, but it does dry quickly. For this mani I used Sally Hansen Deep Sea Blue for the stamping with my Bundle Monster Plates. All of my nails were painted and stamped in 5-10 mins.

Here is a photo Of Stop Traffic on its own. I think I like it better plain than with the navy blue stamping.

Revealed & Subtle Stamping

Here are a few images of Color Club Revealed with subtle stamping using China Glaze Emotion. I think it looks similar to this subtle mani I did a few weeks back. I love them both. Next time I am going to try Manicured Monkey's suggestion to use black stamping.

Zoya Harlow & Stamping

Zoya Harlow is my one and only Matte polish. You can see what Harlow looks like on its own here. Harlow makes a great base for stamping because of its quick drying time. I used Cover Girl Triple Platinum and my Bundle Monster plates for the stamping.

I ended up using a top coat on this mani, and I really liked the end result.
