Absolutely Shore & Silver Lining

This is a manicure I did last month. It is simple, but sparkly, which is a great combination. For this mani I used two coats of Essie Absolutely Shore and one coat of China Glaze Silver Lining on top. Although it was a pain to remove I think it was definitely worth it. French Affair & CG In The City

Essie French Affair is one of my favorite pink polishes. I wanted to spruce up my French Affair manicure, so I decided to use China Glaze CG In The City on an accent nail. CG In The City is pretty, but last time I used it as a full manicure it took almost an hour to remove. This manicure allows me to use CG In The City, without spending an hour removing it.

Pink & Silver Sublte Stamping

I loved how OPI Mermaid's Tears looked with silver stamping so I decided to try the same image and polish (Sally Hansen Celeb City) on top of OPI Sparrow Me The Drama. Mermaid's Tears & Silver Stamping

I love OPI Mermaid's Tears, it is the perfect creme base for stamping. I also love Sally Hansen Celeb City, which is perfect for stamping. This also happens to be one of my favorite Konad plate images. I think this is my favorite non-pink manicure I have tried so far :)

Argyle Silver Stamping

Tonight I added some silver stamping with Sally Hansen Celeb City and Konad m60 to my base of Essie Jamaica Me Crazy. I like this argyle pattern but I had trouble producing a clear image. I think it would have been better with a black polish for stamping. Although this came out a little messy I still like this combination.

Simple Silver Stamping

For this subtle mani I used OPI Strawberry Margarita as a base. For the stamping I used Konad plate M64 (I think this image is adorable!) and Sally Hansen Celeb City. I enjoy stamping with Celeb City but it is a pain to clean up the silver overlap on my fingers.

Pool Party With Silver Glitter

China Glaze Pool Party is a bright neon pink that dries with a matte finish. I do not really care for neon matte shades, but I love neons with a shiny topcoat. I wanted to try a glitter top coat finish similar to Alissa's post here. I used Maybelline Express Finish in Silver Spells. I picked up Silver Spells last year from the Dollar Tree and have only used it a few times. Unfortunately this top coat requires several coats of a clear top coat to smooth everything out.

Holographic Stamping

Just a quick post tonight. This is China Glaze Hologram as a base with China Glaze Purple Panic stamped on top. I love this bright design. Like the other polishes from the Tronica collection Hologram dries quickly which makes it a great base for stamping.

Orly: Razzle with Silver

Orly Razzle is a deep fuscha/berry with tons of micro-glitter. The glitter is very subtle but really stands out in the sunlight. Like Orly Monroe's Red I think you can get away with one coat. The pigmentation on these polishes was great, I was happy they were on clearance for $1.99, but I would have paid full price for them. I decided to do a laser mani with tape and Sally Hansen Celeb City. The laser mani would be pretty on every nail but I like the way the silver polish stands out on my ring finger.

This is Razzle with two coats, no topcoat.

Coconut Kiss Nail Art

After looking through my nail art polishes I decided to use my Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Silver over top of China Glaze Coconut Kiss. The formula for the Sally Hansen pens is water-based, which makes it such a breeze to remove if you make a mistake. I kept everything simple this time and made three small flowers out of dots on each nail. Then I went back with L.A. Colors Art Deco in Silver Glitter to add accent dots, and centers to the flowers. From up close you can see the flowers but from far away it looks like cute polka dotted nails.

Material Girl with Silver Stamping

I decided to stamp over Ulta Material Girl with Sally Hansen Celeb City. The silver stamping is a little fuzzy over top of the magenta glitter, but in the right light the combination is really pretty.

Zoya Harlow & Stamping

Zoya Harlow is my one and only Matte polish. You can see what Harlow looks like on its own here. Harlow makes a great base for stamping because of its quick drying time. I used Cover Girl Triple Platinum and my Bundle Monster plates for the stamping.

I ended up using a top coat on this mani, and I really liked the end result.

Fun Friday French

Today I decided to try something different and do a funky french manicure. I used Orly Fancy Fuchsia (which I am in love with) and China Glaze Silver Lining. I painted on the tips free hand, but it would have definitely been easier with tape. Then I used Seche Vite as a topcoat which did a great job of smoothing everything out. I think it is perfect for a fun and relaxing Friday :)

Birthday Mani

It is my birthday and this is my Mani :)

I used China Glaze Hologram from the Tronica collection for the base, a black Wet n Wild polish for the stamping, and I added Electra Magenta from the Tronica collection to the spots. Sorry I do not have any outdoor photos:(

Purple Leopard

Sally Hansen Forever Lilac is a medium lavender polish with a microglitter finish. The application is very smooth and even but it did take three coats to achieve near-total opacity. I purchased this during one of CVS's 75% off sales last year.

To make it more interesting I stamped Cover Girl Triple Platinum on top. Triple Platinum is a beautiful silver that I found in a two pack at the Dollar Tree.

I would recommend both of these polishes if you ever came across them for cheap.

Tronica Water Marbling

I played more with water marbling today. Do not mind my ring finger, it was a big fail. Although the Tronica polishes are not as holographic as the OMG collection, I think they are very pretty and worth purchasing.
