White Cap: The First Polish I have Repurchased

My absolute favorite nail polish is China Glaze White Cap. I adore White Cap as a top coat and I have run out of my bottle after purchasing it just 1 year ago. If you do not own this polish yet i highly recommend adding it to your collection! Here are a few past manicures with White Cap as a top coat.

Nail Polish Flower Earrings

I combined two of my favorite loves- nail polish and jewelry! I recently added a whole new line of flower earrings to my Etsy Shop that were created with a few of my favorite polishes and top coats. If you are interested in similar earrings but in different colors let me know! I hope you find something you love :)

Old Nail Art :) (Picture Heavy)

I spent time tonight reading through my old blog posts from March and April this year. I always enjoy looking at past nail art, so I compiled a ton of photos from my old posts. I have not messed with nail art in ages. These manicures were all fun, but I have been really enjoying simple layering manis. Which one is your favorite?

Pink & Silver Sublte Stamping

I loved how OPI Mermaid's Tears looked with silver stamping so I decided to try the same image and polish (Sally Hansen Celeb City) on top of OPI Sparrow Me The Drama. I love both of these manicure looks. If you would like to see what this stamping looks like on Mermaid's Tears you can view my post here.

Sally Hansen: Bling It On & Question

I have read several great things on Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. I won Bling It On a few weeks ago and have finally decided to try them out. I was able to do all ten nails with only five strips. If your nails aren't too long I would definitely recommend cutting your strips in half to make them last longer. The price range for these is around $10 per pack. I am going to test these out and see how long they last so it might be awhile before I have a post again. I LOVE the pink glitter strips, and unlike a normal glitter polish it is smooth without a top coat.

Does anyone know of a pink polish that looks like the pink glitter strips? I would love to wear this manicure everyday, but it has been hard to find a good selection of the polish strips in my area.

Mermaid's Tears & Silver Stamping

I love OPI Mermaid's Tears, it is the perfect creme base for stamping. I also love Sally Hansen Celeb City, which is perfect for stamping. This also happens to be one of my favorite Konad plate images. I think this is my favorite non-pink manicure I have tried so far :)

Gold Flowers

For this cute manicure I used China Glaze Endurance as a base with gold stamping on top. For the stamping I used my Bundle Monster plates and Sally Hansen Chrome in White Gold. White Gold was great for stamping, but is almost nonexistent in stores. If you do not own White Gold a good substitute would be China Glaze Passion.

Navy & Pink

This is my previous manicure of Orly Purple Crush with added navy stripes. I taped of my chipped Purple Crush and added Sally Hansen Deep Blue Sea on top. I am not crazy in love with how this turned out, but it solved the tip wear on my previous mani.

Argyle Silver Stamping

Tonight I added some silver stamping with Sally Hansen Celeb City and Konad m60 to my base of Essie Jamaica Me Crazy. I like this argyle pattern but I had trouble producing a clear image. I think it would have been better with a black polish for stamping. Although this came out a little messy I still like this combination.

Sally Hansen: Rose to the Occasion

Sally Hansen Rose to the Occasion is a muted pretty pink that I picked up from the Dollar Tree in a two pack. This dried quickly and had a great glossy finish. If I come across any more Sally Hansen Salon Polishes at the Dollar Tree I will definitely pick them up.

Challenge Tag

I was tagged by Kristin from the Manicure Monkey for this challenge..

Here are the Rules:

1. Go to your lacquer stash
2. CLOSE your eyes and pull 3 random items - JUST 3
3. Create a mani from them
4. Post your mani when you post the tag
5. Tag 3 bloggers

My boyfriend chose these three colors :-/

I decided to try water marbling but it was a mess trying to clean up the silver and dark purple from my fingers.

If you have not already been tagged.. The three bloggers I tag are

Valentine Kisses
My Lucid Bubble
You Nailed It

Goodluck ladies, hopefully you have better luck than I did :)

Deep Sea Blue & Firefly

Sally Hansen Deep Sea Blue is a pretty, shiny dark blue polish that is fine on its own but it is extra pretty with Jesse's Girl Firefly. I love Firefly, it is very similar to China Glaze White Cap. Adding White Cap or Firefly to any polish makes a simple manicure special.

Orly: Razzle with Silver

Orly Razzle is a deep fuscha/berry with tons of micro-glitter. The glitter is very subtle but really stands out in the sunlight. Like Orly Monroe's Red I think you can get away with one coat. The pigmentation on these polishes was great, I was happy they were on clearance for $1.99, but I would have paid full price for them. I decided to do a laser mani with tape and Sally Hansen Celeb City. The laser mani would be pretty on every nail but I like the way the silver polish stands out on my ring finger.

This is Razzle with two coats, no topcoat.

Gold Sparkles

Golden Ticket is one of my Sally Hansen favorites. It is a gorgeous polish packed with gold glitter. I love the brush on the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure polishes. It is a wide flat brush that makes application a breeze. Golden Ticket is opaque in three coats. For this mani I used two coats of China Glaze Peachy Keen under one coat of Golden Ticket.

Here are a few images of Peachy Keen on its own.

I like the look of the gold and the orange. I think it would also look pretty layered over black or pink.
